Our Story
I started TRESSNY because a cotton saree should not be something you save for a wedding.
I was a homemaker in Chennai, watching many of my friends leave every morning for their full-time jobs dressed smartly, balancing professionalism and personal style with confidence.
But every time I shopped, I noticed the same problem. The sarees I loved were treated as occasion wear — heavy, expensive, saved for weddings — and the everyday ones were an afterthought. Nobody was making a cotton saree a woman could actually pleat at 8am and still feel good in at 8pm.
So in 2025, I decided to create what I couldn’t find. A saree house in Chennai: pure cotton, a full 6.3-metre drape, a blouse piece in every box, and prints chosen with as much care as any festive silk.
TRESSNY isn’t just a brand. It’s the dream born from watching inspiring women around me and wanting every woman, whether she works from home or outside, to reach for a saree on an ordinary Tuesday.
Our Mission
A Saree House Built in Chennai
The saree was never meant to be occasion-only. Somewhere along the way it became something Indian women were told to save — too precious, too formal, too much effort for a working day.
TRESSNY exists to undo that. Pure cotton that pleats easily and breathes all day, a full 6.3-metre drape with the blouse piece included, and prints designed in Chennai — priced so the saree can be an everyday choice, not a special occasion.
